DCUSU has a long-history of supporting diverse students. We recognise that differing life experiences can lead to very real challenges and opportunities. While all students irrespective of your gender, age, race, sexuality, ethnic minority status, and disability status are equally valued and worthy, it is important to recognise the barriers that exist for specific minority identities and take action to help remove those. Below, we’ve put together a brief synopsis of the equality work we’re engaged in.

Advocating for Change - How?
If you would like to implement greater diversity / equality policies in DCUSU, you have the power! As a member of the Students’ Union, you are empowered to mandate the sabbatical team to carry out work you feel is necessary.
