THERE ARE OVER 140 CLUBS AND SOCIETIES IN DCU FOR YOU TO CHOOSE FROM, CATERING FOR ALL HOBBIES, INTERESTS AND PASSIONS. CAN’T FIND WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR? CREATE YOUR OWN!
Joining a club or society, (or both!) during your time in DCU will be the best decision you’ll make. There is something for everyone in our 140 clubs and societies - if you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can create your own! From Surf ‘n’ Sail, to Japanese Soc, from Style Soc to Arts and Culture, from Fencing to Dance, there is so much on offer to you. Involvement in clubs and societies gives you a welcome break from your studies, helps you to meet new people, make lifelong friends, create incredible memories, have unforgettable experiences, learn something new, do your favourite things or even discover your passions! The skills and competencies learned from your involvement will really stand out on your CV too. There is a whole Clubs and Socs Office of staff who are here to help you run your club or society, set up a new one, organise a trip, train your committees, and ensure the smooth running of each club and soc.
