Disability Steering Group

The Disability Steering Group consists of stakeholders from all areas of Dublin City University who meet four times a year to:

  • Promote the disability agenda in DCU
  • To raise awareness & widen the accessibility agenda for all members of the DCU community
  • To review current policies and procedures relating to disability
  • To draft new policies and procedures relating to disability
  • To develop standards to make DCU a model of best practice in accessibility and inclusion
  • To identify champions within DCU who will drive the accessibility agenda
  • To meet quarterly as a group
  • To liaise with the Equality Steering Group on the work of the Disability Steering Group
  • To liaise with Executive on an annual basis on the progress of disability issues in DCU
