Class Rep Council is the most important body in the running of the union. All union officers and class reps are members of the council, but only class reps have a vote. At CRC, issues and policies are discussed and debated by all members and Exec report on any news or current developments within the university. The council has the power to mandate EXEC on what they want i.e.: the union cannot make any important decisions without the agreement and support of council. At the start of every academic year, class rep council elects a chairperson for that year. This person must be a class rep and cannot be a member of EXEC.
